it depends!

Should designers and illustrators be worried about the development of creative AI? Are jobs at risk? (Brian Lau)

yes.

• at the very least designers and illustrators will be adopting AI tools into their workflows.
• i expect that AI tools will lead to fewer designers doing more work, and many design jobs being done by "non designers" using these tools.
• on a little longer time scale i think that these tools will radically transform the role of design and illustration, and certain types of designers and illustrators will basically stop existing

How do we make sure everyone gets due credit when work is produced by AI? The end user, the developers, and the creators of the original datasets that the machine was trained on all have a hand in the process of creation, but most of them don’t get their due - especially considering there’s little chance there will be any official policy to regulate this anytime soon.
